10 Things To Love About 10 Things I Hate About You

10 Things I Hate About You is a 1999 adaptation of Shakespeare's play "The Taming of the Shrew". I remember going to see this movie in theatres and loving it, and have since purchased the DVD. This movie takes an old, classic theme and proves it to be timeless by applying it to a modern day highschool and it's students. The humor and witty remarks almost mask the love story behind it all, but everything comes together to create a movie for all ages.

In 30 Years...

It’s 8:30 and I hear Justin Bieber serenading me with his hit from 2010 “U Smile”, (gotta love the oldies!) from my holographic projector in the middle of my room. Now that I’m awake and in a great mood, I talk to my boyfriend using the same holographic projector, this time in the video chat setting. After that I go to my CCA 6000 to pick out my outfit for the day. Then I stand under my straightening machine and get my hair done in 4 minutes. My teeth get brushed by the arm that comes out of the mirror, then tells me how beautiful I am while it does my make up. Finally, ready to leave for class I get in my auto-drive flying machine called a Doopaloid that drops me off right in front of class in 27 seconds. I actually want to learn in class so I don’t use any the new Subtracterol that is supposed to make you “smarter” but I think it’s an addictive substance that the company just wants you to but more of. Then I get back in my Doopaloid and go to my dorm where Ashley and I go to the Money Dispenser X25 to get money to go shopping. We jam out to John Mayer’s 35th Plantinum selling record all the way there and live happily after.

Tutorial

This tutorial was very helpful. Even though I knew some of this information, the tutorial was a good refresher and taught me some things I didn’t know. Doing the matching activity (matching the parts of the citation such as journal titles or author, to its source) was useful and more fun than just the quizzes. This tutorial was overall useful, and reminded me of some information I could use for research and citations.
